It’s been a while since I made a post on here, so I thought I would share what I’ve been up to lately.
Since VMworld my schedule has been swamped to say the least, between travel and studying I haven’t had too much free time over the last couple months to squeeze in any posts. Today however I had some time so I thought I would share some updates.
Certs Since VMworld:
E10-001 – EMC ISM v2 Exam
E20-390 – EMC VNX Solutions Specialist Exam
Both of which make up the EMC Implementation Engineer: VNX Specialist Level cert. Next up are the EMCTA exam for VNX, a RecoverPoint exam as well as the VMware vCAP Datacenter Admin exam (which I’m hoping to take care of before Christmas).
If all that training wasn’t enough I have also been busy on the other front. With the help of my counter part in the Kansas City area we have been able to install quite a few EMC boxes in the past couple of weeks.
VNX Installs:
5 – VNX5300 Systems (including this one )
1 – VNX5100 System
To say the least it’s been a pretty busy time, but I do have some fun articles in the pipe line for my blog that include a bunch of backup software reviews…. everything from Appassure to Unitrends to the new VMware Data Protector product.
Oh did I mention that we are also planning on doing another lunch and learn series … except this time there are a bunch more locations… and hopefully there will be a bunch more labs to choose from! Keep your eyes here for more information on those dates as well as locations…. most of them will be starting in 2013!
