SEATTLE, Washington – December 10, 2018 – Kublr announced today the availability of version 1.11 of the KublrPlatform that provides enhanced automation and fine grained controls for deploying Kubernetes in multipleenvironments. Kublr 1.11 will be showcased in a demo at booth S/E 17 at KubeCon+ CloudNativeCon North America 2018 in Seattle, December 11-13, 2018.
Kublr’s version 1.11 brings major automation and control improvements for deploying Kubernetes clusters in multiple environments. In the cloud, Kublr provides fine-grained controls that enable deployment of Kubernetes on top of existing infrastructures. Customers in highly regulated industries have asked for the ability to deploy Kuberneteson top of existing virtual networks or VPCs with existing storage accounts, resource groups, security groups, and subnets. The new release provides thisability out-of-the-box.
For bare metal enviroments, the Kublr control plane can automatically provision underlying software and Kubernetescomponents on top of an exisiting operating system.
For automating Kubernetes deployments on top of VMware, whether on-premise or in cloud-hosted environments, Kublr is developing integrations to VCloud Director and VSphere. Available in technical preview now with the beta release in January 2019, Kublr will now offer cloud-like automation capabilities on top of VMware.
“We are constantly learning from enterprises about their struggles with their Kubernetes deployments and operations,” explained Slava Koltovich, CEO of Kublr. “By enhancing automation and control for Kubernetes deployments on multiple infrastructures, Kublrcontinues to deliver on the promise of a single enterprise-class solution for running Kubernetes anywhere. The Kublr platform already offers the most advanced centralized logging and monitoring capabilities of any solution on the market, enabling IT teams to manage their Kubernetes deployments from a single pane of glass. This is particularly valuable for large enterprises who generally have very heterogeneous environments.” Kublralso provides advanced capabilities like custom cluster creation, “Spaces” andRBAC, and an API for advanced use cases.
Earlier this year, Kublr became a Kubernetes Certified ServiceProvider (KCSP) and passed the Kubernetes Conformance test for Kubernetes v1.11. The Kublr Platform has been conformant and certified for k8s v.1.9 and v.1.10 the Kublr team works continually to supportk8s newest versions.
