What’s new in Veeam v6!

While I cannot yet share my experience or any details of the Veeam Backup and Replication v6 Beta that I have been using for over a month now, I would like to share a paper that Veeam released detailing the new features in Veeam Backup and Replication 6.

Honestly, I don’t really care about the addition of Hyper-V support, but it is there if you have chosen the Hyper-V path (notice I say path and not road… ;))

Anyhow, check out the article here.

Also here is a great blog post on the subject as well.

I am already preparing articles about v6 and how to get up and running, and how to scale it out for even very large environments without increasing your backup window. As soon as the product is released I will start posting them, trust me it will be worth the wait!
